Taco Bell Triple Steak Burrito

triplesteak.jpgIf you haven't already had a Triple Steak Burrito, get yourself to the nearest Taco Bell and get one as soon as you can! It is, without a doubt, the best tasting item I've ever had at Taco Bell. When they said triple steak, they really meant it. This burrito is very big and full of delicious steak. It also has cheese, rice, and sour cream, but there's not a lot of these to get in the way of the generous amount of steak you get in every bite. The fire roasted salsa – slightly smoky with a little heat - is delicious and is what makes the burrito stand out from the other items on the menu. I paid $3.99 for the burrito here is Sacramento, California, which is a lot higher than other items on the menu. However, it is worth every penny and I'll gladly buy it again. The Triple Steak Burrito is only available for a limited time (let's hope they make it a regular menu item...), so get one before they are gone.

Phoood rating: Outstanding!

Well, this should get points off for the dumb commercial. But I'm sure it's good. I've had the cheesy rice and bean (or whatever it's called) burrito, and for a bit over one buck it does the job. A (vegetarian) guy can get pretty tired of the bean & cheese burritos all the time.

These are awesome. I usually get 3-4 things on the menu, but one of these filled me up.

Also, the cheesy rice burrito for 99 cents is another great filler upper.

Well, if I liked Del Taco's Big Fat Tacos, I'll try one of these. Without the cheese and sour cream of course. How do you know when sour cream is going bad? When it starts to smell good? :)

These are fantastic and they are probably the biggest thing at Taco Bell. I'm usually torn between one of these or two of the Cheesy Double Beef Burritos, only because of the price.

It's over $4 here in the southeast. Apparently it's worth it to my husband, who usually doesn't even like Taco Bell (I myself like it pretty well). I may have to try it next.

I miss the Taco Bell bacon cheeseburger burrito. It was incredible. All else pales beside it.

My had one of these ,and praised it. Then I read this, and had to go get one.

I got mine minus the sour cream. It was huge, and not all that bad, but not as good as all the hype. The thing is, Taco Bell steak is of rather low quality, and i'm not too sure having more of it in one shell is a great thing. I didn't feel it was worth $4, but then again, it did have a lot of steak in it. At least three steak soft tacos worth. The rice was tastey, and I would enjoy it a smaller version of the same thing.

I didn't dislike it, but I wasn't blown away either. I go to Taco Bell only for a cheap meal, and t ostock up on hot sauce. I'm not sure i'll order another one again though. If i'm in the mood for something like that, i'll make my own version at home.

GET THE GRILLED STUFF BURRITO STEAK, ITS ALOT BETTER AND GRILLED FOSHO

I had one of these... I have to say, despite the praise here, I found it rather disgusting.
Maybe it was just my luck of the draw and I got a poorly prepared one.
But when I bit into mine, all I could taste was barbecue sauce. And that's just not right for a burrito.
To make sure it wasn't just my prejudice against the nasty sauce I had my friend try it. She gave me a funny look and asked, "....Does that taste like cheap barbecue sauce to you??"

I'll stick with the double decker tacos for Taco Bell.
When I want a burrito... I'll go get a REAL one from one of the local chains for half the price.

Unfortunately I am no longer near a Taco Bell. My favorite thing to order was the Grilled Stuffed Steak Burrito with extra cheese and LOTS of Baja Sauce. God I wish I had one now, but my local TB just got torn down to make way for acother condo (like Seattle needs more of those).
