The California Pizza Kitchen Crispy Thin Crust Sicilian Pizza is not the type of frozen pizza I usually buy, but I'm really glad that I tried it. It is really delicious and an example of just how good frozen food can be. The crust is very thin and perfectly crispy, with a great flavor and texture. The pizza is topped with Italian sausage, spicy ham, and salami. There is a modest amount of mozzarella and fontina cheeses. There's not a lot of sauce on it, which I like. The minimal sauce really lets you enjoy the crust and toppings. As far as frozen pizzas go, it is on the small size and costs a bit more than most. Even so, it is definitely worth buying for its great taste.

I have tried many of the other varieties of the California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizzas and not been truly disapointed in any. The Thin Crust Sicilian Pizza is one of the better offerings.

Posted by: Jill at January 21, 2008 7:58 PMI don't know how they do it, but California Pizza Kitchen is trying to do something different. The bright yellow packaging is what got me, but their pizzas are amazing. I recommend trying every new thing they put out.
Posted by: Red Icculus at February 5, 2008 5:11 PMI can honestly say that I am not a fan of this pizza. My roomates and I made a California Pizza Kitchen frozen 'za along with an off brand thin crust 'za. The off brand was much better!!!
