Lay's Stax Potato Ships
These were on sale at Wal-Mart, so my wife bought them. I have tried them, different varieties, several times. Each and every time, without fail, I always have to ask myself: Why? Why try to get the Pringles taste and experience from something other than Pringles? I do not care for the consistency – they always seem to be stale. Perhaps this speaks of crispness rather than consistency, but they just seem to lack any spark. The different flavors always strike me as just missing the mark. I really like potato chips, in almost any form, but these just do not hit the spot the way a chip should. The bottom line with these is “If you want Pringles, get Pringles.”

Well I kind of like these chips i have to crave for them in order for me to eat them. Pringles r always the best chips ever made.

Every time on of those stupid Lay's Stax commercials come on, I turn the channel. Every time! What a stupid, lame commercial. I refuse to buy ANYTHING of Lay's as long as that commercial is on the tube.

Well, barring Muncho's, which kick the stuffing out of both Pringles AND Stax.
i think lays stax are waaaay better.. i still like pringles but yeah

Up here in Canada Pringles are called "chips" not "crisps". But they are way too crispy to be called chips in my opinion. Pringles taste like crackers and they never consistant with the amount of ketchup flavoring on the chips. Stax are the new number one snack in Canada! Stax taste way better than pringles do and I have been eating Pringles for too many years. Salt and vinager Stax are the best! Go and try some right now! Stax taste way better than Pringles!

Lay's has lots of products but it doesn't seem that they're content with them. They maybe studied all different kinds of chips from different brands. It's not a matter of jealousy, it's wanting to make more $$$ Look at all of the generic rip-offs sitting on the grocer's shelves (which I'm thankful for, because they taste the same but are cheaper).
Anywhoo; I love Pringles, but I like the Staxx (sans name *shudder*) because they're thicker and you get less broken chips per can.

And not ONCE have Lays been 'stale' to me.
