Reese's 1 Gram Sugar Carb Peanut Butter Cups

reesescarb.jpgI’m not on the low-carbohydrate kick, so I don’t usually eat low-carb food. After eating this Reese’s 1 Gram Sugar Carb Peanut Butter Carb, I will be even less likely to buy low carb products, especially anything sweet. Everything about it is wrong – the taste, the consistency, the chocolate, the peanut butter, etc, etc. If this wasn’t bad enough, they are slightly smaller than the regular Peanut Butter Cups. Eating the cups was truly a disappointing experience. Unless you are on the Ultimate Atkins Diet and absolutely cannot eat any carbs, I recommend staying away from this product.

Isn't the low carb thing kind of done with? It went "out" about a year ago. Give me real sweets, not a stomach ache.

Yea the low carb stuff is nasty but the 100 cal packs are great.

I tried them and thought they were great. But as a diabetic, you learn to appreciate things. So, I thought that it was fine. Definitely not the real thing, but pretty good as is.

Also stay away from the "inside out" limited edition peanut-butter-on-the-outside reeses peanut butter cups. Nasty. Just nasty.

I LOVE the peanut butter cups in the larger more traditional size....I love following a low carb diet, it keeps me in shape and healthier and feeling better than I ever have in my whole life. It helps tremendously to have my favorite candy bar in the low carb variety so that I can still eat it and stay well within the restrictions of my diet. I have eaten many of these Reese's cups...love them, think they taste absolutely great....and I can fit into a size 4 and stay that way because of companies willingness to put out the low carb stuff...besides sugar is not good for you, people...haven't you figured that out yet??!! And these candy bars do not give me any stomach aches..but they do satisfy my cravings for chocolate and my favorite candy...GREAT JOB HERSHEY!!

I agree with Debbie, I love the peanut butter cups too! Granted, they are not as good as the real thing, but the benefits of eating more healthy outweight any negatives.

I'm just trying to find out where I can buy them online. My store is always out.

GREAT JOB from California!

I disagree with the original review. This candy is very good, albeit a bit smaller than the original, but very good.

The Reese Peanut Butter Cups are excellent. The people that don't like them are addicted to sugar and there body and mind can't accept anything less than a pure sugar fix. If they would cut back on the sugar, they would like them too.

Sandra and Carol; try using Google, and that thing between your ears, would you?

Also, low carb=healthy is a fallacy.

My father has been trying to do the low/no carb thing for about... 7 years now; his weight has fluctuated horribly, and now he's higher in weight and blood pressure than he ever was before. As an aspiring nutritionist, I keep trying to warn him of the damage he could be doing to his liver and kidneys, but he won't listen.
True; refined sugar is just as bad for you as eating a lb of bacon or what-have-you, but a candy bar here and there is not going to hurt you in the long run. Enough of my preaching. ;P

Anyway, low-carb Reeses sound NASTY. (and full of chemicals and additives that wrack the body, for those of you who feel so hoity toity and health conscious for praising them, go eat an apple already)
