Oreo Double Stuf Peanut Butter Creme

oreopeanutbutter.jpgNew on my supermarket shelf are new Oreo Double Stuf Peanut Butter Creme cookies. There are no big surprises here, just your typical chocolate Oreo wafers filled with peanut butter creme. Like most combinations of chocolate and peanut butter, these cookies are pretty good. I think they taste like the combination of an original Oreo and a Nutter Butter (yum). The peanut butter creme is only OK, it could have a better flavor and texture. I didn't dunk them in milk like I should have, but I'm sure they would be good this way. Overall, it’s a pretty good cookie.

Do you know what is in the middle of oreos? LARD and SUGAR. Yep. Make it at home. get a can of crisco and some powdered sugar and you have oreo stuffing. GROSS! no wonder america is the fattest country in the world.

Posted by: at September 21, 2005 12:41 PM

I'm with you, Sandy. I HATE those chocolate/peanutbutter mixture. I don't like oreos a lot, and never have them. It's DISGUSTING, and they make all this 'double cream' junk. Oh and that mint one. ew..

Woops..not sandy. lol, wrong person..read the thing wrong..sorry

not even remotely tasty. i am a huge Oreo fan but i guess i am a purist. btw, i am tempted by that crisco and sugar thing, i'll have to get the oreo ingredient's list to see if you left anything out.

Posted by: michele at September 21, 2005 1:51 PM

If you do not like SUGAR nobody said you had to eat it. Some people are overweight because of health issues, And not just in America... So if you think that, then you are sadly mistaken. Cookies are good for a snack,So Lard and Sugar, since you did not leave a name, how much do you weigh and what country are you from????

Posted by: Mychelle at September 22, 2005 5:56 AM

I bought that today,But it is too late to eat,so I am waitting for tomorrow morning.hahaha.

gee what a bunch of joy killers. newsflash people most creamy fillings whether in cakes or cookies consist of lard and sugar. If that grosses you out then stay away from jello. jello contains some type of pork fat. Look these foods are bad for you. So what. Aren't we supposed to have some damn fun. Just eat in moderation.

Yah I'm with you Woogieville!!! You can still eat the foods you love that are bad for you, just eat them occasionly!!!
