Wendy's Mozzarella Chicken Supreme

rsz_wendys-new-logo.jpgFirst of all, you may have noticed the lack of a picture containing the food item I'm about to review. I tried searching everywhere for a picture of the Mozzarella Chicken Supreme, but to no avail. So I figured now was as good a time as any to display Wendy's upcoming logo change—something that hasn't been altered in over 29 years. Now on to the review... I walked into Wendy's the other day expecting to order an Asiago Ranch Chicken Club until I noticed signage for the "new" Mozzarella Chicken Supreme. I believe this was actually on the menu in the past, as this website seems to indicate. I placed my order for one and received it shortly in a neat little package. At first glance I was disappointed by how small it was for its $7 price tag. My first bite revealed a nice and chewy bun, fresh veggies, and a ranch sauce that had pepper sprinkled into it. A little strange, but it helped to liven things up. The Homestyle chicken fillet was as impressive as ever, with a crispy, perfectly seasoned exterior and high quality white meat inside. The mozzarella cheese came across as the real deal, with its elastic consistency and milky flavor. It had melted and draped over the chicken very nicely. Although I wish the portion could've been a bit larger, Wendy's proves once again that they have the best chicken sandwiches to be found anywhere in terms of quality and taste.

I "to be found anywhere" includes Chick FilA, I would have to question your sanity!

It happened in an usual way, months before leaving my hometown of Deerfield Beach,I am glad that I had the opportunity to sit with Dave before his passing. The truth is I sat with Dave at least two or three weekends back in 2004 when I been unemployed, out of work and had made the chose to attend vocational school. Back then,I would walk to Wendys in the afternoon order a small fry and one of those square hamburgers, alright Im gonna be honest for the first time since having a Wendys hamburger and small chilli as child, this one of my food secrets for a long time I could not eat Wendys hamburgers because they were square, amazingly, they began serving chicken nuggets, frostys, and spicy chicken sandwiches. Well. that had been back in the day during my spiritual catharisis, job exploration ,and cultural identity crisis, today,I continue to hesitate to order a Wendys hamburger but I love a good chicken sandwich, for that reason I m quick to order a small chicken nugget or spicy chicken sandwich at Wendys and this brings me to a recent incident that occured in December 2012 at Wendys __I ordered the a spicy chicken sandwich at Wendys and it was not thoroughly cooked ,and truthfully this had been the second incident where I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich at Wendys that had not been thoroughly cooked, now Im re thinking whether to by pass the chicken sandwich all together and just stick with the fries, the nuggets, and a vanilla frosty. Yes,I thought of ordering asiago ranch chicken sandwich, the only exception is I dont consider asiago to be a bonfide cheese.
