Trader Joe's Triple Ginger Snaps

triplegingersnaps.jpgGinger snaps are not my favorite type of cookie, but Iíll eat them in a pinch. Trader Joeís Triple Ginger Snaps, however, are not your typical ginger snap cookie. They are made with fresh, crystallized, and ground ginger, which gives them a fantastic flavor. Youíd think that with three types of ginger, the cookies would be over-the-top gingery. Fortunately, thatís not the case at all. They have a very pleasant ginger flavor that isnít overpowering. The flavor gets even better when you bite into a piece of the fresh ginger. I donít think Iíve ever eaten a Trader Joeís product that I didnít really like, and Triple Ginger Snaps are no exception. They are a delicious treat that I strongly recommend.

Phoood rating: Outstanding!

It would have been nice Jim if you had mentioned whether or not the cookies were nice hard crisp cookies like gingersnaps are supposed to be or whether they are like most of the other cookies on the market these days and are soft. I don't care for the soft cookies. Unless cookies are warm out of the oven, they should be crisp in my mind.
