Wendy’s Bold Buffalo Boneless Wings

bonelesswings.jpgIf Clara Peller ordered these, I'm sure she would ask, “Where’s the chicken?” For $3.99, I expected to get more chicken than I got with my order of Wendy’s Bold Buffalo Boneless Wings. It was a pretty small portion that looked even smaller because it didn’t come close to filling up the serving container. A few of the pieces were embarrassingly small and looked like afterthoughts from the bottom of the bag. On the positive side, the Buffalo sauce was really good, with a level of heat that you don’t usually find in fast food. I loved it, but it is probably too hot for many people. The chicken itself (all white meat) was okay but nothing special. For those who like really spicy food, the Bold Buffalo Boneless Wings may be worth trying if you can get past the price and portion size. Boneless Buffalo Wings are also available in Honey BBQ and Sweet & Spicy Asian flavors.

It really depends on where/when you get them. I've received everything between 6 and 10 full-size wings from the same Wendy's. Needless to say, the 10 count order was worth the price!

And I agree, as someone who likes really spicy food (I eat whole habaneros raw), the Bold Buffalo ones were quite tasty.

I haven't tried the buffalo yet, but I need to. I really, really like the Asian style, and they are quite spicy. They sort of taste like general tso sauce. I also tried the BBQ, but it is horrible. NEVER ORDER THE BBQ boneless! The flavor of the sauce is not good at all. There is a really strange flavor in it that I can't place, and they are sort of sour. You can't taste any Honey.

These are terrible. They are chicken nuggets shaken in sauce. And why haven't you posted my review, Jim? I'm disappointed.

The Asian is quite good. The sauce is similar to Tso's chicken, but spicier/hotter.
And THESE ARE NOT THEIR CHICKEN NUGGETS SHAKEN IN A SAUCE! They are bigger, with a crisper texture to them. Wendys regular nuggets sux to me. These are damn tasty.

I watched a cook reach into the nugget bin, pull out a handful, and shake them in sauce. I hate thse things. >:(

He may ahve reached in the nugget bin, but its NOT the same nuggets they serve on their menu

I tried these boneless wings. I really did not care for them at all. The sauce to me was not even hot and it had a gross sweet taste to it. I was very disapointed.

I agree with Pat. Very disappointed. Strong vineger taste and smell. Bad wings.
I tried the Asian ones before...much better.
