Burger King Cheesy Tots
I recently tried the Burger King’s Cheesy Tots. Officially, they are on the breakfast menu but I think they serve them any time as I bought them after they stopped serving breakfast. These cheese-filled tater tots are a great idea but fall short in a few ways. They are kind of small, and they aren’t shaped like most tater tots. They resemble a traditional tater tot that has been pressed from both ends. Not that this makes much difference in how they taste, but they just look odd to me. Also, there isn’t really much cheese in them, and the cheese tastes low quality. The texture isn’t as good as a regular tater tot, either. Cheesy Tots aren’t as crunchy and tend to fall apart easily. I’m a big fan of both tater tots and cheese, but Burger King’s combination of the two doesn’t work as well as I would hope. I’ll stick with fries to go along with my burger.

These are actually pretty darn good. Its a shame that this food along with other fast foods are high in fat and stuff. *sigh*, It sucks, though they are so tasty, I don't buy them anymore though.
Posted by: Emanue Gonzalez at October 3, 2008 9:28 PMI wouldn't say that I would get the cheesy tots that often, although I will say that the taste widely depends on how well the BK in question is cooking them (good fryer talent or are they sitting mushy)
That said, they're probably better then the fries @ BK. Blech.

Cheesy tots are one of my absolute favorite foods in the world, which is why I’m glad Burger King makes them an all day offering. The first time I had them was when they were released as a specialty item in some parts of the country as a test. Burger King wanted to make sure that people would like them before they started making them as a regular food. Back then they were only served at breakfast, but once people like me fell in love with them, they announced you could get them all day long.

They are the best!!!! You can eat them at any time.

IF I happen to get "warm" sides they are so overcooked they are not edible, tastes like the grease is burnt. I have been to more than one BK in my area and it is the same everytime.
