Kit Kat is one of my favorite candy bars, right up there with Butterfinger and Baby Ruth. It’s one of those products that is great because it is so simple – just light, crispy wafers covered in milk chocolate. The new (it’s been around for at least a year, I think) Kit Kat Caramel adds a very small amount of caramel at the top of the wafers. It’s such a nominal amount that it doesn’t really add much to the flavor. So why even bother? A Kit Kat bar just doesn’t need it. I’ll stick with the original Kit Kat, sans caramel.
