McDonalds Premium Chicken Sandwich - Club

mcdpremiumgrilled.jpgSomeone at work told me about these chicken sandwiches that are supposedly really healthy for you that McDonalds is pushing, so I went on in to find out what’s goin’ on with them. I immediately saw there were three types: classic, club and BLT (I had the club). The sandwich was really good, to my surprise, as I thought it was gonna be another rehash of the chicken McGrill (they offer the sandwich in crispy chicken or grilled, I had mine grilled.) The chicken wasn’t dry at all, the hickory-smoked bacon was thick, and the Swiss cheese, along with the lettuce and tomato (rabbit food), pulled the sandwich together by piling it on a whole-wheat bun. I highly suggest this line of sandwiches, as this might be the start of something good for the restaurant where Super Size Me was filmed....

I love your site and find your reviews most interesting, but do you really think that a sandwich that has 530 calories, 17 grams of fat (6g saturated), 1470 mg of sodium, and such wholesome components as polysorbate-80, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate and sodium stearoyl lactylate - this is just where I got tired of writing down chemical names, not a comprehensive listing - can be termed "really healthy"?

Yeah I share one sandwich with me and my guy and some small salad and like yeah, the sandwich is a bit dry(lettuce). I WAS surprised the tomato was fairly sized. 4.5 OUT OF 5.0

Yeah it's me again and I realized the sandwich has a lot of sodium, just enough to give me and every person about a huge heart attack. Don't want that do we. Good tastin though yeah:D

The one dollar Chicken sandwich is a good buy, but please turn down the heat. The chicken is too spicy. We are not hispanic and they are too hot. They didn't used to be so hot. Can we ask for a regular or somethng. We will have to stop buying if you don't fix 'em.
