Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Tater Tots

oreida.jpgHave you noticed how Tater Tots have gotten smaller over the years? I remember them being much larger when I ate them as a kid. Anyway, these new Ore-Ida Crispy Tater Tots are good, but they don’t seem any crispier then normal. I ate them plain, with ketchup, and covered in chili. Each way, they tasted pretty much the same as the regular variety. If you think Ore-Ida has discovered something new and great to do with a Tater Tot, think again.

Jim,

You're missing out!.. you must not be cooking the tots right. If you follow the directions for cooking them in an oven or fryer especially, you'll notice the difference. To think that you're going to notice a difference in crispiness when eating the plain vs. w/ ketchup or chili is ridiculous. Stop being cynical and enjoy what you eat.

They definitely are smaller than the regular variety and didn't seem any "crispier" to myself as well. The original and ones with onion will satisfy my future needs!
