I love new Reduced Sugar Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, and now I’ve had a chance to eat new Reduced Sugar Trix. General Mills has another hit with this cereal. By sweetening the cereal with Splenda No Calorie Sweetener, the cereal has 75% less sugar than regular Trix. With only 3 grams of sugar per serving, you can eat it by the handful if you want to. I actually did this, and it tastes great straight out of the box. It also tastes great with milk, so buy yourself a box and have a bowl for breakfast as soon as you can.

I was absolutely impressed with this cereal. I couldn't tell the difference taste-wise between regular Trix and the Reduced Sugar Trix. And the Trix bits are the old school shape!

Posted by: anthony at April 4, 2005 11:29 PMtrix cereal is the best ever!.. i have been eating almost a box for 2-3 days. it doesnt really make you gain weight so you could eat as much as you like. i have been eating trix reduced sugar for a year and a month stright, everday the same trix never missed a day. if i was going on vacation.. i would bring the box or bag.. and get the milk in a hotel.. and pour in my cereal.. haha lol.. i would recomonbed hotels serving these at breakfasts. kids would love itt!!
Posted by: Diana at July 14, 2006 3:57 AMI love all the reduced sugar cereals... My husband and I are both Diabetic, we eat these cereals every morning, they never affect our glucose readings...You used to have the CoCo Puffs in the reduced sugar, too, but I don't see them any more..
Please keep making these cereals, they are so enjoyable to us Diabetics..
I'm diabetic and i loved the Reduced Sugar Trix. I have yet been able to find them at the stores that i used to get them from. (walmart and farm fresh) Are they still being made, and where can i go purchase them. They need to keep these reduce sugar cereals out, since a large amount of Americans are diabetic.
Posted by: Kelvin at October 18, 2008 11:30 AMI miss the old trix that had shapes. First of all, they tasted much better. Also, they were more interesting to eat with all the different shapes. I don't know why they changed the shapes and reduced sugar always tastes worse. If you're going to completely change your cereal, why not just make a new kind so everyone's happy??
