Skippy Snack Bars (Peanut Butter & Marshmallow variety) are another example of a good idea gone bad. In theory, the chocolate covered granola bar with peanut butter and marshmallows should make a very tasty treat. However, the Skippy Snack Bar is made with a bland granola bar, tiny, hardened marshmallows, and a minimal amount of peanut butter. Even covered in chocolate, the taste of these ingredients is not very appealing. Nice try, Skippy, but all we have here is a snack bar that is edible, but not very enjoyable.
Phoood rating:
The photo on the box shows about 20 (or so) little marshmallows on top of the bar. I just opened and ate my first one and it literally had 4. I took a photo to complain. They shouldn't be allowed to show a product that is significantly different fom the real one you will be eating.
I think the flavor is good although the marshmallows are too hard and dry. I won't buy the marshmallow kind again, but I will buy the PB and chocolate kind if they're on sale.

I need to find out where to buy them. The local stores in Pittsburgh have stopped selling them and I am in agony.
Please respond. I would order them online if I could.
