McDonald's Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle

mcgriddle.jpg
Whoever invented the syrup-infused pancake used in McDonald’s McGriddle breakfast sandwich should be added to Mt. Rushmore. OK, that’ll never happen, but it is deserved nonetheless. I didn’t think that the McMuffin could be improved upon, but I was sure wrong. The Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle is absolutely delicious. The pancakes, filled with little pockets of syrup, would be great by themselves. Add sausage, eggs, and cheese to them and you get an entire breakfast in each bite. I don’t know how many calories or grams of fat a McGriddle has, and I don’t want to know. I just want to eat another, and another, and another…

Phoood rating: Outstanding!

Jim,
This site is cool. Most people won't admit it, but they love this food and this guide will be useful to many.

I concur!!!!

Agreed that the McGriddles are uniquely delicious; however, they are much smaller in diameter than expected!

The McGriddle is fantastic. I much prefer the bacon, egg, and cheese to the sausage variety, but either way the syrup infused pancakes have no right to be so delicious. They are, admittedly, a bit smaller than expected, but an A+ regardless.

i think they need to make it larger. it is not worth the money

I was just looking up how many calories were in a mcgriddle. It took me a while to find it but I finally did. I am trying to lose weight and I guess a mcgriddle is not the way to go, it said it has 550 calories, but did not say anything about carbs or anything like that. I ate one, but that was before I found out how many calories, I wont be doing that for a while. So everyone out there who still eats them, eat one for me.

I thought these were horrible.

The 'pancake/syrup' bun was really gross to me, but I suppose that's because I'm the kind of guy that wants my food seperated on the plate... no syrup on my eggs or bacon, etc... If you don't like mizing all of your breakfast foods up in a blender, don't eat this sandwich.

Yummy .
It get an A+++ for the mcgriddle sandwich.

Personally, who invented this sandwich should be given an award since syrup bun is very delicious especially with sausage. Although no fast food chain has offered a healthy and low cost breakfast food item yet in my opinion, McD should be recognized for introducing such an unique food item.

Interestingly, my family members do not care much for this sandwich.

I have mine with just the egg and the bacon. Taking out the cheese cuts about 70 calories, and it doesn't make me feel as guilty for swinging by the drive through once a month for one of these BAD BAD boys.
